Dan Flynn UC Davis Olive Center Email: jdflynn@ucdavis.edu Dan Flynn is executive director of the UC Davis Olive Center, leading the center’s efforts to promote olive research and education. He also oversees olive oil production for UC Davis, including overseeing the harvest, operating milling equipment, and helping promote the product. Dan served as a consultant to the California State Legislature from 1985 to 2004 in a variety of policy areas and is the former owner and manager of an organic farm in the Sierra foothills. Dan received a B.A. in Sociology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a M.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University.

Kiley Athanasiou comes to UC Davis with 15 years of business
experience in marketing and public relations. She has an MBA in
International Business from the Thunderbird School for Global
Management. Most recently, Kiley developed and managed outreach programs at Rice University in Houston, Texas. While
Nicole Sturzenberger UC Davis Olive Center Email: ndsturzenberger@ucdavis.edu Nicole Sturzenberger came to the UC Davis Olive Center at its inception in 2007 after completing her Master’s degree in Food Culture at the L’Università degli Studi di Scienze Gastronomiche in Parma, Italy. Nicole has worked on wide-ranging projects for the Olive Center, including researching olive mill waste management, conducting an in-depth survey of super-high-density olive oil production in California, and assisting in a study of consumer perceptions of extra virgin olive oil. Nicole received her B.A. in Economics and French from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, spending two years studying at the L’Université d’Aix-Marseille III.

The parking structure is located east of the building. Parking for the current season is $6. Rate subject to change. From I-80 West (from Sacramento), take the UC Davis/Mondavi Center exit. Turn right onto Old Davis Road and continue north to the parking structure entrance on the right. From I-80 East (from Bay Area), take the UC Davis/Mondavi Center exit. Turn left onto Old Davis Road and continue north to the parking structure entrance on the right. From Highway 113 South (from Woodland), take the I-80 east off-ramp towards Sacramento.
